4. Supervisory functions - Deadlines


  • Service providers subject to the HFIU's supervision are required to prepare internal rules within 90 days after beginning their functioning and to present them for approval to the HFIU insofar as they start their functioning after the AML/CFT Act entered into force (15 December 2007) [Section 45 Subsection (4) of AML/CFT Act].
  • Service providers are required to notify the HFIU about the name and the position of the designated person, and any subsequent changes therein, within five working days of the date of designation or the effective date of the change.
  • Against the decision of HFIU - provided that an act or government decree does not determine other provisions - an appeal can be lodged within 15 days after the notification on the decision.
